New diabetes drug studied for low blood sugar recovery

Summary
This study looks at how retatrutide, a once-weekly injection, affects recovery from low blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. About 78 adults who manage their diabetes with diet, exercise, and metformin will take part. Researchers will measure how quickly blood sugar returns to normal after a controlled low blood sugar event.
