First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether resveratrol (a natural compound found in grapes) delivered via nanoparticles can improve standard gum disease treatment. 48 adults with moderate gum disease will receive either standard cleaning alone or cleaning plus the resveratrol nanoparticles. The goal is to see if the added treatment improves gum attachment and reduces inflammation markers.
