NCT ID NCT07549945

First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looked at whether giving less fluid to newborns with a condition called transient tachypnea (fast breathing) helps them recover sooner. 50 full-term or near-term babies were randomly assigned to receive either restricted or standard amounts of fluid. The main goals were to see how long they needed breathing support and how long they stayed in the hospital.
