Dentists test High-Tech scanners to catch cavities faster

Summary
This study looks at whether digital tools, such as intraoral scanners and cone-beam CT, can detect dental issues like cavities and gum disease as well as or better than a traditional hands-on exam. About 350 adults who haven't seen a dentist in at least six months will have both a standard checkup and digital imaging. The goal is to see if the digital approach can make diagnosis faster and more consistent.
