First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether giving long-term care and retirement home staff a personal 'resource navigator' could improve their wellness and reduce burnout. 123 workers in Ontario were split into two groups: one got one-on-one support to find health and wellness resources, the other did not. Researchers measured changes in wellness, burnout, and COVID-19 outcomes over 6 months.
