Can a distant healing touch ease the wait for a transplant?

NCT ID NCT07394660

Summary

This study tested whether remote Reiki sessions could help people waiting for an organ transplant feel less hopeless, tired, and in pain. Thirty patients on long-term dialysis received the remote energy healing treatment. Researchers measured changes in their symptoms and vital signs to see if Reiki provided any relief.
