Summary
This small study looked at how two different hand-on therapies—myofascial release and the fascial distortion model—affect flexibility and balance right after treatment. Twenty healthy adults in their 20s received one of the therapies on their calf and foot. Researchers measured changes in ankle motion, hamstring flexibility, and balance. The goal was to see if these techniques have immediate effects on other parts of the body.
