Online therapy brings hope to rural depression patients

Summary
This study tested whether giving primary care doctors in rural West Virginia and Kentucky access to an online cognitive behavior therapy program helps patients with major depression. Over 1,200 adults who recently started depression treatment took part. Researchers measured depression remission at 16 weeks and tracked them for a year to see if improvements lasted.
