Fat grafts may keep Dupuytren's from coming back after surgery
NCT ID NCT05067764
First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a fat graft from the patient's own arm to standard hand surgery can reduce the chance of Dupuytren's disease returning within 2 years. About 172 adults with moderate to severe Dupuytren's who need surgery will take part. Half will get surgery alone, and half will get surgery plus a fat graft, and researchers will compare how often the disease comes back.
