First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests a special cartridge that pre-digests fat in tube feeding for children with short bowel syndrome who rely on IV nutrition. The goal is to see if the device is safe and helps kids absorb more nutrients, possibly reducing their need for IV feeding and lowering the risk of liver problems. About 32 children who are already in a related study will use the cartridge for an extra 90 days.
