First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This small pilot study tests whether a relaxing virtual reality (VR) experience can help manage blood sugar after eating white bread. Twenty healthy adults will try relaxing VR, stressful VR, a VR clinic room, or just sitting in a real room before and after a meal. Researchers will measure blood sugar, stress, and heart rate to see if the approach is feasible and worth studying further for diabetes care.
