First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether doing physical therapy in the daytime or evening helps people with lumbar disc herniation (a common back problem) who are also at high risk for obstructive sleep apnea sleep better and feel less sleepy during the day. About 60 adults aged 18-65 will be randomly assigned to either a daytime or evening rehab program. The goal is to see if timing makes a difference in sleep quality, daytime sleepiness, pain, and daily function.
