New hope for liver cancer patients with limited options after immunotherapy fails

NCT ID NCT07514455

First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests the drug regorafenib in 20 adults with advanced liver cancer and poor liver function (Child-Pugh B) whose cancer worsened after first-line immunotherapy. Participants take regorafenib pills daily for 3 weeks, then 1 week off, until the cancer progresses or side effects become too severe. The goal is to see if this treatment can slow cancer growth better than no treatment at all.
