Summary

This study looks at whether giving a steroid called dexamethasone along with special brain monitoring (BIS) can lower nausea and vomiting in children after ear, nose, and throat surgery. About 1,500 kids aged 2 to 8 having their tonsils or adenoids removed will take part. The goal is to help children recover more comfortably with fewer side effects from anesthesia.
