First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether a school-based program can help children aged 6 to 8 reduce their exposure to endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) found in plastics and other products. About 700 children in Belgium and Spain will take part, with parents and schools working together to adopt safer behaviors. The goal is to lower chemical levels in urine and potentially prevent issues like early puberty.
