First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether training nurses in evidence-based practices can lower the number of serious infections and injuries that happen in intensive care units (ICUs). About 272 patients and their nurses in Bangladesh will take part. The goal is to see if better nursing care can prevent lung infections from ventilators, bloodstream infections from central lines, and pressure ulcers from bed rest or medical devices.
