New device could cut heart failure readmissions, trial seeks 1,014 patients

Summary
This study tests whether using a special vest (ReDS) to monitor fluid levels in the lungs can improve care for adults hospitalized with heart failure. About 1,014 participants will either receive standard care or have their treatment guided by daily ReDS readings. The goal is to see if this approach reduces deaths, readmissions, or urgent visits within 30 days after leaving the hospital.
