Tiny seeds zapping lung tumors from the inside – a new hope for recurrent cancer?
NCT ID NCT05632913
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to treat lung cancer that has come back. Doctors place tiny devices called Alpha DaRT seeds directly into the tumor to deliver a special type of radiation. The goal is to see if this is safe and possible for up to 10 adults with small, treatable tumors. This approach aims to control the disease, not cure it.
