First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding an immunotherapy drug (QL1706) to standard chemotherapy and radiation before surgery can improve outcomes for people with locally advanced rectal cancer. About 108 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard treatment or the standard treatment plus immunotherapy. The goal is to see if the combination leads to a complete disappearance of the cancer before surgery.
