New surgical approach aims to reduce bleeding and speed recovery for women with rectal cancer
NCT ID NCT07189780
Summary
This study compares two different surgical techniques for removing rectal cancer in women. Researchers want to see if starting the surgery at a specific anatomical point reduces bleeding during the operation and helps patients recover better afterward. The trial will involve 200 female patients across multiple hospitals who need surgery for mid-to-low rectal cancer.
