New app aims to ease recovery after cancer surgery

Summary
This study tests a digital tool called RECapp that helps patients recover after surgery for esophageal or stomach cancer. The app lets patients track symptoms, get personalized self-care advice, and know when to contact their healthcare team. 250 adults in Sweden will use the app for six months after surgery to see if it reduces symptoms and improves quality of life compared to standard care alone.
