Massive 2,000-Patient study tracks new heart drug in real life
NCT ID NCT07235462
Summary
This study aims to understand how a new medication called acoramidis works for patients with ATTR amyloidosis cardiomyopathy in everyday medical care, not in a controlled trial. Researchers will observe up to 2,000 adults across Europe who are already starting this treatment as part of their normal care. The goal is to collect real-world information on who gets the drug, how it's used, its safety, and how it affects patients' heart function and quality of life.
