First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a portable device can reliably collect breath samples from 16 people (8 with cystic fibrosis and 8 healthy volunteers) in real-world settings. Researchers will measure certain substances in the breath to explore how environmental factors like air pollution may affect lung health. The goal is to better understand what triggers lung flare-ups in cystic fibrosis.
