Massive study tracks cholesterol drugs in real patients
NCT ID NCT07206472
Summary
This study is observing how two cholesterol-lowering drugs, bempedoic acid and a combination pill with ezetimibe, work for patients in real-world doctor's offices and clinics. It will follow about 2,560 adults with high cholesterol or mixed lipid disorders in Asia and Latin America for one year to check for side effects and see how well the drugs lower cholesterol. The goal is to gather more safety and effectiveness data from routine medical care, not to test a new treatment.
