Summary
This study is testing whether teaching women with excess weight to hand express colostrum during late pregnancy can improve breastfeeding initiation and duration. It also examines how a mother's diet affects her breast milk composition and her baby's growth. About 240 pregnant women will participate, with some receiving extra education and support.
