Summary

This study tested a new treatment called REACT (rilparencel) for people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who also have chronic kidney disease. The treatment uses a person's own kidney cells to try to slow down kidney damage. 53 adults aged 30 to 80 took part, and the study looked at safety and whether the treatment helped keep kidneys working longer.
