Summary
This study tested a drug called RC18 in 178 people with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD), a rare disease that causes inflammation in the eyes and spinal cord. The goal was to see if RC18 could safely delay or prevent relapses. Participants had to have had recent relapses and test positive for a specific antibody. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
