New hope for chinese MG patients: ravulizumab trial targets daily symptom relief

NCT ID NCT07596784

First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a drug called ravulizumab in 20 Chinese adults with generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG), a condition that causes muscle weakness. The goal is to see if the drug improves daily activities and muscle strength over 26 weeks. Participants must have a specific antibody and meet severity criteria. The drug works by blocking part of the immune system, so patients need a meningococcal vaccine before starting.
