New hope for rare cancers: Two-Drug combo trial seeks to control advanced disease
NCT ID NCT04969887
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two immunotherapy drugs (nivolumab and ipilimumab) can help control advanced, rare cancers that might be sensitive to this type of treatment. It will enroll 240 adults with specific rare cancers, including certain neuroendocrine, biliary tract, gynecological, and MSI-H tumors. The goal is to see if this drug combination can stop or slow cancer growth and extend survival for patients who often have few proven treatment options.
