5-Day brain zap trial aims to lift depression

Summary
This study is testing whether a faster, 5-day version of a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment can help reduce symptoms of depression. 264 adults with depression will be randomly assigned to receive either the real treatment or a placebo version. Researchers will measure changes in depression, brain activity, and emotional expression over a year to see if the treatment works.
