Summary

This study looks at whether doing a quick relaxation exercise and applying a cold pack before removing a chest tube can help reduce pain and anxiety and increase satisfaction. About 87 adults who had open-heart surgery and need a chest tube removed will take part. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to make this uncomfortable procedure easier.
