Summary
This study tests whether doing quick relaxation exercises and applying cold packs before chest tube removal can lower pain and anxiety in adults who have had open-heart surgery. About 87 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the combined relaxation and cold treatment or standard care. The goal is to see if these simple, drug-free methods improve comfort and satisfaction during a procedure many patients find very painful.
