Summary
This is a small, 6-month pilot study to see if taking the drug rapamycin (Rapamune) is safe and might help prevent infections or make them less severe. It will observe 15 adults who are already prescribed this medication by their doctor. Researchers will track infections, run blood tests, and ask about health and quality of life to gather initial information.
