First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This early-phase trial is testing whether adjusting chemotherapy based on how the tumor responds can help more people with stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer complete their treatment and have surgery. About 20 adults with stage IB to III disease will receive a personalized chemo plan. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and improves the chance of curative surgery.
