Shorter radiation blitz aims to better control rare tumors before surgery
NCT ID NCT07507773
Summary
This study is testing a shorter, more intense 3-week course of radiation therapy given before surgery for soft tissue sarcoma in the arms, legs, or trunk wall. The goal is to see if this approach improves long-term control of the tumor at the original site and reduces the chance of it coming back. Researchers will follow 135 adult participants for up to 5 years to measure how well the treatment works and monitor side effects.
