Summary
This study looked at whether adding focused radiation to the usual drug therapy can help people with breast cancer that has spread to a small number of spots (up to 5). The goal was to see if it could delay the cancer from growing and improve quality of life. 87 participants were randomly assigned to receive either standard therapy alone or standard therapy plus radiation to the metastatic sites.
