Radiation study aims to protect memory in brain cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing a focused radiation treatment called stereotactic radiosurgery for patients with six or more brain metastases (tumors that have spread to the brain). The first goal is to find the safest, most effective dose. The second goal is to measure how much the treatment affects patients' memory and thinking skills over four months, compared to older whole-brain radiation treatments.
