First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study will test an artificial intelligence (AI) model that uses MRI scans to tell the difference between benign uterine fibroids and a rare but aggressive cancer called uterine sarcoma. Researchers will enroll 500 women who are scheduled for surgery or long-term follow-up. The goal is to see if the AI tool can accurately identify high-risk cases, potentially reducing unnecessary surgeries and improving early detection of cancer.
