New radio wave acupuncture offers hope for aching knees

Summary

This study tests whether a painless, needle-free treatment called transcutaneous pulsed radiofrequency acupuncture can reduce pain and stiffness in people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will enroll 90 adults aged 45 to 85 who have had knee pain for at least six months. Participants will receive the treatment along with standard rehabilitation and be followed for three months to measure changes in symptoms and daily function.
