Heart ablation study seeks to Fine-Tune treatment for fast heartbeats

NCT ID NCT07435181

First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks back at medical records of 220 people who had a procedure called radiofrequency ablation to fix an extra electrical pathway in the heart that causes rapid heartbeats. The goal is to compare how well the procedure works for two types of pathways: one that shows up on a standard EKG and one that does not. Researchers want to see if the hidden type is harder to treat and how long the benefits last.
