Heat treatment for kidney cancer: can it spare organs and improve lives?
NCT ID NCT07465458
Summary
This study aims to collect real-world data on how well radiofrequency ablation (RFA) works for treating small kidney cancers. RFA uses heat to destroy tumors, potentially preserving more kidney function than surgery. Researchers will follow 226 patients to track tumor recurrence, survival, side effects, and quality of life after the procedure.
