NCT ID NCT07744997
First seen Aug 04, 2026 · Last updated Sep 03, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether certain dietary supplements can improve sleep quality and reduce sleep-related impairment in adults who have trouble sleeping. About 600 participants will take either an active supplement or a placebo for six weeks, without knowing which they received. The trial measures changes in sleep disturbance and related outcomes like mood.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- dietary supplements (active rest products) compared to placebo
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could point toward a non-prescription supplement option for improving sleep and reducing sleep-related impairment.
- What could go wrong
- The trial is early-stage and relies on self-reported outcomes, so results may not be conclusive or generalizable. Supplements can have side effects or interact with other medications.
