Can a zap to one tumor shrink others? study investigates immune boost for kidney cancer

Summary
This study aims to learn if giving a high-dose, targeted radiation treatment to one tumor in patients with advanced kidney cancer can help their immunotherapy work better to shrink other tumors throughout the body. Researchers will observe about 145 patients who are already receiving immunotherapy and add this radiation treatment. They will track how tumors respond over a year to see if this 'abscopal effect' happens and what factors might predict it.
