Radiation blast + immune boost: new combo attack on spreading cancers
NCT ID NCT07383857
Summary
This study is testing whether combining a short, intense course of targeted radiation with immunotherapy drugs can better control advanced cancers that have spread to the abdomen or pelvis. It will enroll 103 adults with specific metastatic cancers (liver, kidney, or bladder) to see if this combination is safe and effective at delaying cancer growth. The approach aims to use radiation to make tumors more visible to the body's immune system, which is then activated by the immunotherapy drugs.
