NCT ID NCT07455318

First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study checks if people who got a rabies vaccine years ago can still be protected with just one booster shot. About 561 healthy adults who had one of three different rabies pre-exposure vaccine schedules at least five years ago will receive a single booster. The goal is to see if their immune system responds quickly enough to prevent rabies after a possible exposure.
