New approach aims to keep rheumatoid arthritis patients active
NCT ID NCT06706999
Summary
This pilot study tested whether a new care model called PREVAIL could be successfully integrated into routine rheumatology visits for adults with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The model used a screening tool to identify patients who might benefit from exercise guidance or a physical therapy referral, then provided tailored online exercise resources. Researchers enrolled 63 participants to see if this approach was practical and acceptable to both patients and doctors.
