Triple therapy aims to reignite immune attack on hard-to-treat head and neck cancer

NCT ID NCT06239220

First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining three treatments—modified natural killer cells (PD-L1 t-haNK), an immune-boosting protein (Anktiva), and a targeted antibody (cetuximab)—can shrink tumors in people with advanced head and neck cancer that has come back or spread. About 25 adults whose cancer progressed after standard immunotherapy will receive this combination. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and effective at reducing tumor size.
