First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at how HIV and its treatment affect the overall well-being, mood, and sexual health of heterosexual men. Researchers compared 99 men living with HIV (who are on effective medication and have undetectable virus levels) to healthy men without HIV. Participants filled out questionnaires about their quality of life, depression symptoms, and sexual function to identify challenges that may remain even when the virus is well-controlled.
