Summary

This study tests a new drug called QLS1304 combined with standard hormone therapy in people with advanced ER+/HER2- breast cancer whose disease has worsened after at least one prior hormone treatment. The trial has two phases: first finding the best dose, then checking how well it works. About 300 participants will take part across multiple centers.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
QLS1304 tablet combined with endocrine therapy (fulvestrant, AI, or CDK4/6i)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a new treatment option for advanced ER+/HER2- breast cancer patients who have stopped responding to standard endocrine therapy.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial (Phase 1/2) with only 300 participants, so safety and effectiveness are not yet proven. The combination may cause side effects or fail to improve outcomes.
