New injection aims to tame stubborn inherited cholesterol

NCT ID NCT07450378

Summary

This study is testing whether a new injectable drug called QLC7401 can further lower 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-C) in adults who have an inherited form of high cholesterol. Participants, who are already taking stable cholesterol medication, will receive either the new injection or a placebo (dummy shot) to compare results. The main goal is to see how much the drug lowers cholesterol and to check its safety.
