New hope for lung cancer patients: drug combo targets remaining cancer cells after chemoradiation

NCT ID NCT07091305

First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug QL1706 (which boosts the immune system) to chemotherapy before standard chemoradiation, followed by more immunotherapy, can help people with limited-stage small cell lung cancer live longer without the cancer growing. About 28 adults aged 18-75 with measurable tumors and good organ function are eligible. The goal is to see if this approach improves outcomes compared to current treatments.
